show jumping resources
Brock Clermont's International Grand Prix show jumping training business that was in Wellington, FL.
If Brynn lived on the East Coast, she'd surely be attending the International Angelstone Tournament series. Started by Keean White and Ryan, Regan, Victoria and Kelly Clermont (Anne's brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.)
It really is the Disneyland for horse people.
All you need to know about the hunter jumper show circuit in the U.S.
There are many places you can turn to for information on writing. I have put together some of my favorites here.
Website design, editing, book trailer creation and publishing consulting - all great resources for writers.
I met so many great people on the Backspace forum, as well as the wonderful Salt Cay Writers Retreat in the Bahamas. (I kind of wish I was there right this minute...)
Everyone should be aware of what is going on in their field and business. Publishers Marketplace sends out a daily Lunch email, as well as provides the latest information on the industry. Trust me. It's worth a subscription.
Whether you log in electronically, or get the weekly magazine, it's a deep well of information on the industry.
I love checking in with the five debut authors who post weekly about their experiences with their debut books.
I like getting these magazines, plus, if you go on their website they have links to all kinds of great articles, including information on getting an agent. They also offer books on writing and other swag.
I've learned a lot from these video tutorials. You can download tutorials on almost all aspects of writing craft, the business, and tips from agents, authors, and editors. It's a great place to find inspiration too - and who doesn't need some of that?
I post updates on Goodreads, so hop on over and follow me there. I'd also love it if you added LEARNING TO FALL to your 'to read' shelf! Sometimes I'll post a few words on what I thought of the book.
Books I recommend
Books on writing
I've read dozens of books on writing, and have learned something about writing from each one. I'll try to do them justice, and summarize some of my favorites here. (Still updating...)
